The Nerd can setup your guitar action and intonation to your specifications. We can also re-string instruments, tighten loose hardware, and thoroughly clean your guitar. The Nerd is also happy to talk shop and give advice so you keep your rig in fighting trim.

The Nerd has 15 years of guitar repair experience. He can also work on pedals, amps, and keyboards with confidence. The Nerd will work with you to build a plan for getting you back to giving bardic inspiration to your party members in no time.

We acknowledge that there are some instruments out there that have been neglected. We do not fault anyone. Life happens and priorities don’t always align with the care of guitars. We here at STG want to help the owners and caretakers of such instruments. We will work with you to find a proper healing solution for your baby. We also offer end of life arrangements to seal and prepare your instrument for a spot on a wall display.

I love connecting with other nerds about our passions, whether we share them or not. One of the best parts of my job is when the customer gets to see their dream become reality. I make sure to include them in every step of the process so they know exactly what they are getting.

About Us
My family and I love being nerds. Some of my favorites have been Skyrim, Star Wars, and D&D. I have been a huge nerd since the first time I watched Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. I watched it with my father who saw it for the first time in 1977 when it was still only Star Wars. I saw The Phamtom Menace with him opening night in 1999. After that, I dove headfirst into everything from Avatar: the Last Airbender to Dragonball Z and everything in between.
My Wife consumes fantasy and vampire books like I eat oreos. She has been mildy obsessed with dragons since she first attempted to read Eragon when she was only 7. She was heartbroken that it was too difficult and set out to clime that mountain. Britt now owns the whole series and proudly displays them in our living room. She got to live out a lifelong dream and met the author and got her set of books signed by him while he was touring for Murtagh.
